Greenwood Park

Updated 6 February 2024. Every effort has been made to use the latest, most accurate information. Please always confirm information details with the site operator or vendor prior to any purchase decisions.

Overview

Greenwood Park is one of Tauranga’s established villages. Locals tell me that they liked the village as soon as they drove into it – because it doesn’t look like a village!

When the village was constructed the concept of retirement villages was reasonably new. The villas vary from two bedrooms to four bedrooms with many subtle differences between them. There are also units and apartments.

The village is known for its spaciousness and gardens and prides itself on its sociability.  At the moment there is also room for motorhome parking, a gardening area and nine golf holes for pitching practise.

Although the village has no rest home care or hospital the sales manager advised that other Metlifecare Villages such as The Avenues and Somervale have rest home and hospital facilities and there is some ability to move between villages.

Greenwood Park has a very active arts group so if you enjoy being creative this village is a good one to consider.
